How members use SakeOf in real life

Local facts are one part of the decision. These stories show what it looks like after joining.

Build a practical care path around your needs

SakeOf is a healthcare membership that combines selected everyday-care services with provider choice and support navigating medical bills. Instead of starting with a complicated bill after care, members can consider which active services fit the need, find a provider for in-person care when appropriate, and ask for help understanding charges.

Your membership options determine which direct services and feature-specific benefits are active. Use the calculator to explore options and price adjustments, then review the Savings Guide to understand how the membership works. If you are unsure which combination or care path makes sense, ask Jordan for help thinking it through.

Use everyday-care services when they fit

Zero Copay Telemedicine is an optional feature with an $8 monthly adjustment. When selected and active, it provides access to telemedicine for appropriate concerns. For care that needs an examination or another in-person service, use provider search to explore options and contact the provider about services, availability, and expected charges.

Virtual Primary Care is a separate direct service with a $15 monthly adjustment. When selected and active in the current service tier, it offers $0 virtual primary-care access, a dedicated physician relationship with ongoing virtual follow-up, an annual virtual wellness visit, and chronic-care or medication-management support when clinically appropriate for virtual care. It requires Rx and Prescription Benefits, Zero Copay Telemedicine, and Mental Health and Counseling to remain active.

Rx and Prescription Benefits is an optional feature with a $10 monthly adjustment. Check the feature details for how it applies to a particular medication, and ask the prescriber or pharmacy about the medication and its price. Medication costs and needs that require in-person care may involve separate expenses.

Include counseling and other membership options

Mental Health and Counseling has a $6 monthly adjustment. When selected and active, it includes unlimited on-demand telephonic counseling at $0, with 24/7 access to masterโ€™s-level counseling professionals for the member and eligible enrolled dependents. Up to three face-to-face counseling consultations per incident may be arranged when available. This feature requires Rx and Prescription Benefits and Zero Copay Telemedicine to remain active.

The counseling service can include immediate problem assessment, supportive sessions, crisis support, and referrals to appropriate behavioral-health plans or local community resources when more care is needed. Psychiatry, inpatient behavioral health, emergency psychiatric care, and medication costs are not automatically included through this feature.

Other optional features include Maternity Care (+$18 per month), Chiropractic and Acupuncture (+$14), Physical and Occupational Therapy (+$11), Durable Medical Equipment (+$7), and Dental and Vision Discounts (+$9). Dental and vision discounts apply through participating providers, with members paying providers directly at applicable rates; actual discounts vary. Get help reviewing a confusing or high bill

SakeOf Full Service advocacy can help members pursue bill verification, fair-price review, and negotiation support. For a submission, provide an itemized bill with service dates, provider information, and CPT or HCPCS codes when available. SakeOf may also request clinical notes, records, billing details, or other documentation to review eligibility, medical necessity, and fair pricing.

Submit complete documents within six months of the service date. Submit a balance bill, denial, or payment demand within 10 days of receiving it. Keeping records together and responding promptly helps move the review forward. Members should keep their membership current and contact SakeOf in advance about planned higher-cost care when reasonably possible.

Plan for larger eligible medical needs

For a larger eligible event, SakeOf may provide bill review and fair-price support alongside an applicable member commitment and voluntary community funding, subject to program rules and review. Before planned higher-cost care, ask SakeOf about the applicable commitment, documentation, and steps to take. Request a provider estimate and keep itemized bills and relevant records together.
