For a time-sensitive question, consider virtual care

Zero Copay Telemedicine, when selected and active, offers 24/7 urgent-care telemedicine through the current service partner, with unlimited medically appropriate consultations. It can be a convenient first step for a health question suited to virtual urgent care. If the situation calls for emergency services, seek emergency care.

Rx and Prescription Benefits, when selected and active, provide access to a current formulary of about 70 commonly prescribed acute medications at $0 when prescribing, dispensing, and participating-pharmacy requirements are met. The formulary determines whether a particular medication qualifies. Check the current pharmacy tool before filling a prescription; non-formulary and chronic-maintenance medicines are not automatically included at $0.

Mental Health and Counseling, when selected and active, offers unlimited on-demand telephonic counseling at $0 through the current service partner, with 24/7 access for members and eligible enrolled dependents. Up to three face-to-face consultations per incident may be arranged when available. Psychiatry, medication costs, and other specialized services are separate unless another active program expressly includes them.

Choose ongoing care that suits your needs

Virtual Primary Care provides $0 virtual primary-care access when selected and active. It includes a dedicated physician relationship, an annual virtual wellness visit, a health-risk assessment, and chronic-care follow-up and medication-management support when clinically appropriate for virtual care. The current service tier requires Rx and Prescription Benefits, Zero Copay Telemedicine, and Mental Health and Counseling to remain active.

Virtual care can support follow-up, but it does not provide an in-person examination, laboratory work, or imaging. If you need those services, you can choose a local provider. Southern West Virginia Health System lists family medicine, pediatric care, walk-in and same-day care, laboratory, and X-ray at its Sand Plant Road location in Kanawha County. The provider also lists Alum Creek Pharmacy at that site, including a drive-through. Contact the site to confirm hours, availability, appointment or walk-in arrangements, payment options, and prices before traveling.

Use local resources and check costs before a visit

For Charleston-area hospital or outpatient care, CAMC has facilities in or near ZIP code 25301. For a planned service, request a service-specific estimate and ask which facility and professional charges it includes. CAMC explains that posted standard charges are not patient-specific out-of-pocket estimates and may exclude separately billed professional services. If you receive a bill after a visit, test, or procedure, SakeOf Full Service advocacy can help verify the bill, review whether the price is fair, and provide negotiation support. Keep estimates and itemized statements together. Ask the provider which services and professional charges are included, especially when a hospital, clinician, laboratory, or imaging service may bill separately.

For larger eligible medical events, SakeOf uses an applicable member commitment and voluntary community funding under program rules. What applies depends on the event and governing terms.
