For a common, non-emergency illness or symptom suited to remote care, telemedicine connects members with physicians licensed in their state. The current service partner describes 24/7 urgent-care telemedicine with no member cost and no program limit on medically appropriate consultations. Provider availability, clinical appropriateness, technology, state law, and prescribing rules apply. If you need an exam, lab, imaging, specialist, or in-person follow-up, arrange that care separately.
Virtual Primary Care, when included and active, offers a dedicated physician relationship, an annual wellness visit, a health-risk assessment, chronic-care follow-up, and medication-management support. It gives you an option for routine questions over time while leaving you free to choose local care when an in-person service makes sense.
The active prescription benefit is designed primarily for medicines commonly prescribed for acute conditions. A listed formulary medication may be available at $0 through the participating-pharmacy process when prescribing and dispensing requirements are met. Check the current pharmacy tool for the specific medicine and location before filling it. Non-formulary medicines are not automatically $0 or eligible for community sharing; some may be available at a negotiated or discount price.
When the counseling option is active, the current service partner describes on-demand telephonic counseling, including immediate problem assessment, supportive follow-up, crisis support, and referrals when more care is needed. Up to three face-to-face consultations per incident may be arranged when available. Check your membership options to see which services are active.

Before planned care, ask the provider for a service-specific estimate and confirm any applicable participation directly. University Hospitals offers price-estimate and price-transparency resources; an estimate is a planning tool, not a final statement of an individual’s responsibility.
SakeOf’s bill-review process examines documentation, eligibility, medical necessity, and price fairness. SakeOf may negotiate or reprice a bill. For planned care, contact SakeOf in advance when reasonably possible to ask about review and expected pricing. That support can help you approach a confusing charge with a clearer understanding of what is being billed.
Keep an itemized bill showing service dates, provider information, and CPT or HCPCS codes when available. SakeOf may also request clinical notes, medical records, diagnosis or procedure details, billing records, provider documentation, or a signed release. Submit complete documents within six months of the service date, and send a balance bill, denial, or payment demand within 10 days of receiving it.
If a charge needs clarification, ask the provider’s billing office for an itemized statement and service-specific estimate, then share requested documents with SakeOf. An expense paid or discounted through an optional feature cannot be counted twice for the same charge unless SakeOf expressly approves an eligible remaining balance.
For a larger medical event, SakeOf reviews the bill under the program’s eligibility, documentation, medical-necessity, and fair-pricing rules. Under Full Service, eligible expenses may be considered for voluntary community funding after the applicable member commitment. The commitment and program terms depend on the membership selected; community funding is voluntary and is not guaranteed. Contact SakeOf before planned care when reasonably possible so you can ask about advance review and documentation.
If maternity is relevant to your planning, the feature is available when offered and selected. It requires 12 continuous active months before conception, has a $5,000 member responsibility per eligible pregnancy, and allows community sharing up to $25,000 per eligible pregnancy after that responsibility, subject to program rules. The benefit period extends through six weeks postpartum for pregnancy-related care. Adding the feature after conception does not make that pregnancy eligible.
Other options may include dental and vision discounts, chiropractic or acupuncture, physical or occupational therapy, and durable medical equipment through membership or separate active features.
