SakeOf works with the care already around you. Start with convenient at-home options when they fit, use nearby doctors and facilities when you need them, and bring price guidance and bill support into the decision instead of navigating the cost side alone.

SakeOf is a healthcare membership and a smarter alternative to the traditional insurance-first way of paying for and navigating healthcare. Instead of beginning with a network question, begin with the problem in front of you: a new symptom, a prescription, ongoing primary care, or a bill that needs a closer look. Then choose the SakeOf service or local provider that fits.
Your membership options determine which services are active for you. The practical sequence is simple: use an available everyday-care service when it fits, choose a local clinician when you need in-person care, and contact SakeOf about planned higher-cost care when reasonably possible. For emergencies, seek emergency care directly.
When Zero Copay Telemedicine is active, it can be a starting point for a new, non-emergency health concern that is appropriate for virtual care. A clinician can assess the situation and advise on next steps. If an examination, test, or other in-person service is needed, you can choose a local provider; virtual care does not make those separate services part of the visit.
Rx and Prescription Benefits can help with eligible medications under the active program’s rules. Listed formulary medicines may be available at $0 through the required participating-pharmacy process, but the current formulary and pharmacy rules determine whether a specific prescription qualifies. Check the pharmacy tool before filling it. A non-formulary medicine may have a negotiated or discounted price, but it is not automatically $0 or eligible for community funding. Lab work and in-person follow-up may also have separate charges.
Mental Health and Counseling can provide problem assessment, supportive counseling, follow-up when available, and crisis support. If more care is needed, the service may refer you to behavioral-health plans or community resources. Psychiatry, inpatient care, and medication costs are not included simply because counseling is active.
For ongoing care, Virtual Primary Care is an optional direct service with an additional $15 monthly adjustment. When active, it provides $0 virtual primary-care access, a dedicated physician relationship, an annual virtual wellness visit, and follow-up for chronic care or medication management when clinically appropriate. It requires Rx and Prescription Benefits, Zero Copay Telemedicine, and Mental Health and Counseling to remain active for the current bundled tier.
When you need an examination, a test, urgent care, or another in-person service, you can choose a provider based on the care needed and what works for you. Signature Health’s Ashtabula Health Center lists primary care, mental health, addiction recovery, pharmacy, laboratory, and sexual and reproductive health services. It says it accepts Medicaid, traditional Medicare, and some Medicare Advantage plans, and offers a sliding-fee program for qualifying uninsured patients; confirm current services, eligibility, and charges directly.
UH Ashtabula Health Center lists primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, women’s health, laboratory, audiology, and ENT services. Its listing is a useful starting point, not a promise of an appointment or a particular price, so contact the center to confirm availability and expected charges. If you need a vaccine, the Ashtabula City Health Department’s nursing division lists immunization services and advises calling to check vaccine availability and appointment arrangements.
For hospital care, Ashtabula Regional Medical Center publishes information about financial assistance and says uninsured patients may request an estimate before non-emergency services. Ask what the estimate includes, including whether physician or other professional fees are billed separately. The Ashtabula County Health Department also handles countywide nursing, vaccine, clinic, and appointment inquiries; city health departments serve their own areas.
If a bill looks confusing or unusually high, Full Service advocacy can help you understand the charges and identify next steps. Bill verification and fair-price review can examine the itemized bill and supporting details; negotiation support may also be available under the applicable program rules. These services are a way to get help working through a bill, not a promise that a provider will change its price or that a payment will be made.
Keep your itemized bill, including service dates, provider information, and CPT or HCPCS codes when available. SakeOf may request records or other documentation to review eligibility, medical necessity, and fair pricing. Submit complete documents within six months of the service date, and send a balance bill, denial, or payment demand within 10 days of receiving it. If you are planning higher-cost care, contact SakeOf in advance when reasonably possible.
For a larger eligible medical event, the applicable member commitment is part of how the event is handled. After review under the membership’s program rules, voluntary community funding may be used for eligible expenses. The amount, eligibility, and process depend on the event and the applicable rules; no specific outcome is guaranteed. Keep your membership current, respond to documentation requests, and ask SakeOf how the member commitment applies before planned care when you can.
Pregnancy-related care may be considered under the maternity program when its requirements are met. The program’s potential eligible expenses include prenatal visits and labs, standard diagnostic ultrasounds, pregnancy-related specialist care, delivery, and routine postpartum care through six weeks. Pregnancy must begin after the continuous 12-month maternity waiting period is complete. Review the program rules and discuss planned care with SakeOf before relying on this option.
