SakeOf works with the care already around you. Start with convenient at-home options when they fit, use nearby doctors and facilities when you need them, and bring price guidance and bill support into the decision instead of navigating the cost side alone.
The local facts stay the same. These are the pressure points and questions that matter more for this decision.
SakeOf is a healthcare membership designed to bring everyday-care options, provider choice, and help with medical bills into a more coordinated experience. The practical first step is to identify what you need now: a virtual conversation, ongoing primary care, a prescription, an in-person appointment, or help understanding a bill. Then check which services and features are selected and active in your membership.
When it fits your concern, selected and active telemedicine can offer a way to start a virtual conversation. It does not decide every care question: some concerns call for an in-person examination, testing, or a specialist. Choose the provider and setting that fit the care you are seeking, and contact the provider directly about availability and expected charges. For a medical emergency, seek emergency care.
Zero Copay Telemedicine provides virtual access when selected and active. Mental Health and Counseling may include immediate problem assessment, supportive counseling, follow-up with the original counselor when available, crisis support, and referrals when more care is needed. Counseling can be a helpful starting point for support; psychiatry, inpatient behavioral health, emergency psychiatric care, neuropsychological testing, residential substance-use treatment, and medication costs are separate unless another active benefit or program expressly includes them.
Rx and Prescription Benefits are a separate everyday-care option. Check the terms of your active benefit and ask whether a specific medication is included or discounted before relying on a price. A virtual service does not automatically arrange separate lab work, imaging, an in-person follow-up, or specialist care.
Virtual Primary Care is a direct service with a $15 monthly adjustment. The current bundled service includes virtual primary-care access through its service partner, a dedicated physician relationship with ongoing virtual follow-up, an annual virtual wellness visit and health-risk assessment, and chronic-care or medication-management support when clinically appropriate for virtual care. Rx and Prescription Benefits, Zero Copay Telemedicine, and Mental Health and Counseling must remain active for the current bundled service tier. Review your membership options to see what applies to you.

Full Service includes healthcare advocacy and fair-price review. If a bill is unclear or seems unusually high, gather the itemized bill and ask for help understanding the charges and reviewing whether they appear fairly priced. Advocacy can help you work through questions and possible next steps, but no particular price change or outcome is assured.
An itemized bill is required for submissions and should include service dates, provider information, and CPT or HCPCS codes when available. SakeOf may also request medical records, clinical notes, diagnosis or procedure details, provider documentation, billing records, or a signed medical-record release to review eligibility, medical necessity, and fair pricing. Submit complete documents within six months of the service date. Send balance bills, denials, or payment demands within 10 days of receiving them.
Braxton County Memorial Hospital lists billing and financial-counselor resources. WVU Medicine also provides hospital charge information and a financial-assistance policy. Hospital charge files are not guaranteed estimates of what you will owe; ask the hospital about relevant pricing information and whether financial assistance may apply.
For larger medical events, Full Service combines advocacy and fair-price review with voluntary member-to-member community funding for eligible medical expenses. Expenses are reviewed under the Program Guide; a medical event is not automatically eligible for community funding. Before making decisions based on a possible share, check the applicable member commitment, documentation requirements, and program rules.
Timing and prior health history can matter during review. An illness, injury, symptom, diagnosis, or treatment that existed or was known—or for which medical advice, diagnosis, or care was recommended or received—in the 24 months before membership began may be treated as pre-existing, even without a formal diagnosis. Final determinations depend on documentation, clinical review, and the Program Guide. Ask SakeOf about a specific situation rather than assuming an expense is eligible.
For maternity, the optional community-sharing feature is available with Full Service when offered and selected. Membership and the feature must remain continuously active for at least 12 months before conception. The member responsibility is $5,000 per eligible pregnancy; community sharing may be up to $25,000 per eligible pregnancy after that responsibility for pregnancy-related care through six weeks postpartum. Program rules and eligibility review apply.
